Stoke City and Swansea City, two of the Championship’s most out-of-form teams, meet in a crucial game on Saturday.
nStoke City sit 19th in the Championship table having won only two of their last 17 matches in the league. SCFC are on their third permanent boss of the season, already sacking Steven Schumacher and Narcis Pelach.
n
Despite this, the Potters have seen a slight upturn in results since ex-Coventry Boss Mark Robins was appointed last month. Robins has only lost two of his nine matches in charge, but one of these was a 2-0 defeat away to Bristol City on Wednesday night.
n
The loss leaves them only three points above the drop with 15 games left to play.

nSwansea City meanwhile are just two places above Stoke City in the table.

A defeat at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday could result in the Swans having to worry about a potential Championship relegation battle. They’re eight points above the drop as it stands, but could easily be dragged into the fight.
n
Luke Williams’ side also lost on Wednesday night, a 1-0 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday. They have won just once in their last nine games, causing questions to start being asked about Williams.

Here, a handful of our writers make their predictions for the game…

Mac Whittaker
n“This is likely to be a very cagey affair, with both sides being out of form and creeping towards the relegation zone.
n
“Both Stoke City and Swansea City fans were heavily critical of their team’s performances midweek, piling even more pressure on this Championship fixture with a response demanded from each side.

n“Three points have been so hard to come by for both SCFC and the Swans in the last few months and a defeat for either team would put huge pressure on. With that in mind, I can see it being a very close game with a draw or a narrow victory for Stoke being the most likely outcome.
